Why should I join Foodbuy?

How does the Foodbuy procurement program work? 

With no change to your distribution agreements or your current purchasing behaviour, Foodbuy will receive data directly from your distributors to calculate your eligible rebates. Your purchasing data is also assessed to optimize products to help increase rebates and save on food costs. 

Can I work with my preferred distributor? 

Yes. Foodbuy works with a wide range of local, national and regional broadline distribution partners.

What types of products and services do Foodbuy members purchase?

In addition to purchasing food through broadline distribution, Foodbuy members buy many types of non-food items including disposable packaging, cleaning supplies, professional services and more. Members are also able to take advantage of many direct service and supply programs which include wireless services, pest control, and uniform rentals.

What types of businesses does Foodbuy work with? 

Businesses of every size in any sector, from small independent operators to large multi-unit chains. Our members include restaurants, hotels, golf and country clubs, camps, casinos and entertainment venues, healthcare operations, educational facilities, airline caterers and more. Foodbuy provides procurement services for food, non-food, technology, staffing, as well as facilities maintenance and groundskeeping products and services.

What if I have an existing deal with a manufacturer? 

We will work directly with you to review your manufacturer deals to determine what is the most beneficial path. Many Foodbuy members have direct deals with manufacturers. Upon account set-up the member can disclose their direct deals, and Foodbuy can exclude these or help manage the calculation of rebates.
